Top 100 Restaurants

I just found San Pellegrino's list of the top 100 restaurants in the world. I have eaten at one of them, and it was for prix-fixe brunch. I did have desserts from 5 more on the list at SWEET, and own the cookbook of another restaurant.

Even though in some sense it's sad to see that there are an enormous number of the best restaurants in New York and I have eaten at but one, I think that's also a healthy sign of keeping in line with my entry-level paycheck. For some as yet unspecified special occasion this year, I think I'm going to up my number of primo restaurant visits to two. I wish it could be this one because I want to be one of the people who says this, "I am transformed into a fur wrapped hunter eking out the preserved remains of the last hunt as the snow piles up at the door." Alas, Denmark is probably not in the cards.
